Reminder: Public Hearing on Draft South Bay Area Plan (SBAP) on Tuesday January 28
The last public hearing for the LA County South Bay Area Plan (SBAP) and Final Program Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), which includes the communities of Alondra Park/El Camino Village, Del Aire, Hawthorne Island, La Rambla, Lennox, West Carson, Westfield/Academy Hills, and Wiseburn, will be held at the Tuesday January 28 LA County Board of Supervisors meeting.
Thank you to all the residents and community organizations who have worked with our office and the LA County Department of Regional Planning to provide feedback, your insight has helped inform changes to the draft plan.
Below is information on how you can participate in the upcoming public hearing. If you cannot attend, you can still leave written public comment here.
Hearing Date and Time: Tuesday, January 28. The Board meeting begins at 9:30 AM, and this hearing item may come up for presentation and discussion as early as 10:00AM.
Hearing Location: 500 West Temple Street, Room 381-B, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Submitting Public Comment
- To submit written public comment on the draft South Bay Area Plan or Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) email click here or email [email protected] with the subject line “SBAP Comments” no later than Monday, January 27, 2025 by 4PM.
- To address the Board In-Person: Sign-up to have your name added to the queue of speakers at one of the kiosks located in and around the Board Room. Staff members will be near the Kiosks to assist with the process.
