Los Angeles County Public Works is moving forward with the installation of Non-Conforming Vehicle Ordinance (NCVO) signs throughout our community. Installation is currently in progress, with the goal of placing signs at all community entrances by the end of April 2026.
To help expedite implementation:

  • Regulatory (enforceable) signs are being installed first
  • Community name plaques will be added at a later date

Once all required regulatory signage is installed, formal enforcement of the NCVO may begin without further notice.

🚗 Parking Enforcement – What to Expect

Beginning immediately, Parking Enforcement officers will begin issuing warnings for vehicles that do not comply with NCVO regulations.

Important details:

  • Warnings will be issued as a citation with a $0 fine
  • Each warning will include an NCVO informational flyer
  • The flyer explains the ordinance and outlines next steps
  • This is a grace period to allow residents to come into compliance

After the warning period ends and full enforcement begins:

  • Vehicles in violation are subject to a penalty of $63
  • They are also subject to being towed
