This is a reminder regarding the new street sweeping parking restrictions now in effect. The posted signs state specific hours when parking is prohibited on certain sides of the street.
It is critical that all residents adhere to the full time frame of these restrictions. The street sweeping and parking enforcement schedule is not determined by when the sweeper truck passes through. Enforcement officers can issue citations at any point during the posted hours.
For example, if the sign says “No Parking 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.,” you must not park your vehicle on that side of the street until 9 a.m. has passed, regardless of whether you have seen the sweeper. Waiting for the full duration is the only way to avoid a potential citation.
